In February of 1994, Silverston Family Chiropractic opened its doors in Ellicott City. In 30+ years we have been blessed to serve thousands of people. Our chiropractic clinic has enriched the lives of thousands of individuals and entire families through our modern non-drug, non-surgical approach. Our healing philosophy is rooted in the natural laws and principles of health and healing.

In October of 2013, we moved and expanded into a beautiful new facility to pursue a long held dream of building a practice that would have a bigger impact on the health and wellness of our community, and would leave a legacy of changing lives by helping entire families reclaim and maintain their health, in this time when it is so sorely needed. With over 30+ years of experience, Dr. Silverston has searched far and wide, traveled all over the country, and continues to spend countless hours studying advanced techniques to provide the best practices available to help our patients get extraordinary results. We renamed the practice World Class Chiropractic because our intention is to provide world-class care, world-class service, and an overall world-class experience to our patients and our community.

Evaluation of Health History
Our comprehensive evaluation of your health history and examination gives Dr. Steve an in-depth understanding of whether your condition can be alleviated through chiropractic care. We only accept patients for care who we sincerely believe we can help.

Chiropractic Consultation
Know and be known! We take the time to introduce you to our office and to the foundations of chiropractic during your initial consultation. We treat everyone who walks through our doors as family, so here we invest time into knowing more about YOU and why you came to see us. We also offer a complimentary visually stunning Posture Screen that provides insight into how postural deviations may be at the root of your health problems. Chiropractic Exams
The doctor may recommend a more thorough examination to uncover the underlying stresses on your nervous system which may be responsible for your health concerns. The exam lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes a series of COREscore nervous system scans, high frequency digital X-rays, a detailed review of your health history, and physical examination. Within three days of your initial exam, the doctor will provide you with an in-depth, high-tech Report of Findings. At this time, if he is certain that he has detected the source of your problem and certain that he can fix it, the doctor will make a recommendation for care. It is our mission that you leave your Report of Findings feeling confident in our process and that through chiropractic care, you can achieve your most desired health goals! Each plan is unique to the individual and is based on the path that leads to optimal health.

Chiropractic Biophysics
Dr. Steve specializes in an elite method of structural spinal and postural rehabilitation called Chiropractic Biophysics. Patients who choose to engage in corrective care will experience definitive objective and subjective improvements to their overall health as a result of true postural restoration. We invite you to take your chiropractic care to the next level so that your health is restored FOR LIFE and not just on a temporary basis.

This highly advanced, scientific, and proven chiropractic technique goes one step further than pain relief care to correct the source of the problem. Once the problem is pinpointed, patients are given highly specialized chiropractic adjustments, an exercise plan, and a spinal remolding protocol to aid in correction. Patients get the relief from pain that they are seeking, but as their posture aligns, they receive relief from a variety of other health conditions. Patients have reported that conditions such as fatigue, high blood pressure, back or neck pain, allergies, asthma, and many more have all cleared up through a corrective care program built on Chiropractic Biophysics techniques.

ABOUT OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Steve Silverston
Dr. Steve Silverston is a 1992 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and has been serving Ellicott City, Howard County, and the surrounding areas in Maryland since 1994. He and his family enjoy living, working, and being a part of the Ellicott City and Columbia communities for over 30+ years. Originally from New York City, Dr. Silverston first studied to be a chef, then a restaurant manager, and went on to work in some of the world’s most prestigious restaurants and hotels in New York.
​
After years of suffering from debilitating back pains, Dr. Silverston finally found relief through chiropractic care, and was so impressed with his overall experience that he went back to school to pursue a doctorate in chiropractic so that he could help others as he was helped.
Drawing on his hospitality industry training and experience, Dr. Steve (as his patient’s call him) has built his practice and reputation on excellence, providing extraordinary care, service, and long lasting relationships built on honesty, integrity, and trust.

Dr. Steve Silverston
Dr. Peter Turner
Dr. Peter Turner is a passionate and dedicated chiropractor who is committed to helping his patients achieve optimal health and wellness. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Towson University.
​
Prior to attending Life University, Dr. Peter worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer for two years, gaining valuable experience in injury evaluation, rehabilitation, and prevention while working with high school and collegiate athletes. This experience inspired him to expand his knowledge and reach, leading him to pursue a career in chiropractic care.
As a native of Ellicott City, Dr. Peter is excited to return to his community and serve those in need. He is passionate about helping his patients achieve their health goals, whether it be to reduce pain, improve mobility, or simply feel better overall. Dr. Peter is committed to providing personalized care to each and every patient, taking the time to understand their unique needs and goals.

In his free time, Dr. Peter enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, going to concerts, and watching sports. He is excited to be a part of the Ellicott City community and looks forward to helping his patients achieve optimal health and wellness.

First and foremost it’s important to know you are in the right place and moving in the direction of your goals and objectives. We start our relationship with a complimentary consultation and screening to get to know each other and make sure and make sure our office is right for you.
Once we believe you are in the right place to get the help you want and need the first step is to find the cause of your problem or challenge, determine if and how it can be fixed, and present you with the solution.
What to Expect During Your Complimentary Consultation
Our process involves discussing your history and current complaints to understand what you’ve been through, any challenges you are having right now, and what you want to achieve. Then we do a thorough examination to understand what is happening and what can be done for you. This involves using advanced technology (see Posturescreen, and PostureRay) to provide objective measures of how your body is functioning.

What Happens Next?
Once we analyze the information we gain from your examination we will sit down and explain the findings with you so that you will understand what is going on and what can be done about it. We’ll make recommendations and provide you with your options regarding care. Before we begin care you will be confident you are in the right place and have a good idea of what you can expect from your care.
